The problem
A company needed its core product — a timed-assessment platform — built and shipped fast, but had no engineering organization to do it.
The approach
- Built and led a 6-engineer team from scratch; stood up 2-week sprints, PR-based code review, and a staging→production deployment pipeline.
- Architected the platform: timed tests, auto-grading, detailed score breakdowns, and performance-history tracking.
- Built an admin dashboard for staff to track participation, spot at-risk students, and manage content across batches.
- Drove scope and delivery with product and business stakeholders directly.
The outcome
- Zero to production in under three months.
- Release cadence went from ad-hoc to a predictable bi-weekly rhythm.
- A functioning engineering team and process where there was none.
